30 years experience in laboratory and field testing of
solar thermal and photovoltaic energy components and systems. Former
experience in electronic systems Reliability Engineering.


Degree:
Bachelors of Science in Engineering - Widener University, Chester. PA. Majored in
Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.


Special areas of expertise:
Former Quality Manager of both Solar Thermal and
Photovoltaics testing laboratories, also in-house and external calibrations
from first accreditation in 2000 through 2008.

All activities required for continuous compliance to ISO 17025-1999 and 2005.
Document Control, including issuance of initial Quality Manual and all minor and
major subsequent update releases.

Training, personally taught the majority of all classes.

Solar Simulator experience:
Flash Simulator (Spire) and Large-Area Continuous Duty (Vortek) - Install, operate,
repair, calibrate, modify and update both units.

Curve Tracer experience:
Sweep (pulse) and Tracking units, Multi-generation, multi-vendor, multi-series
commerically available units, also design and build several prototype units for
in-house use.

Continuing Education:
PV Installers Workshop Instructor: personal favorites include Sections on
Stand-alone Inverters, Utility Interactive Inverters, Charge Controllers and Batteries.
